Co Dependents

I feel responsible for my mother

Symptom

I love my mother but I feel that I am responsible for her every need. She says that I am the only one that understands her and that she could not function if I was not around. She is bright and fun however always puts herself down. I have been accepted into a university 100 miles away and whilst I really want to go I am worried about what will happen to her. She left my dad when I was 14 but only because I made her as he was abusive and an alcoholic. I feel responsible for that too. We are true co-dependents.
