Feel out of control
I am unable to get control of my life. No matter what I do I’m unable to feel as if I can get anything done. I’m always running out of time, always late to things and unable to manage anything properly. I do not feel able to do anything properly and never seem to finish anything.

Every time I get cross I lose control of my temper
Every time I get cross I lose control of my temper and end up throwing things across the room and shouting at everyone. I am getting worse and I don’t feel I am in control of things.

Juggling so many things
Sue, 37, from Luton, was interested in exploring Future Life Progression because, like many women with the responsibility of bringing up children whilst juggling a career, she felt she needed to explore how her life would be blossoming over the coming years. Her main concerns were maintaining work/life balance, keeping stress at bay and building a happy future with her husband Mark and their two children. Sue felt that if she could gain some insight into the most effective ways of spinning so many plates she would feel capable of releasing stressful thoughts from her life.
At the FLP session once Sue had become completely relaxed she was guided through the gentle sequence that allows you to open up to visions of your future. Five years along her life path Sue could see herself still living in her current home, but with a little more financial freedom. Sue discovered that although in the future she had reduced her working hours as a doctor’s receptionist, she also saw that she had decided to start up a home business with her husband, which was attracting a lot of interest and opening new doors for them both. She also noticed that this change in her working life created more flexibility in her home life, and increased the amount of quality time she could spend with her family. The increase in income meant they could enjoy more activities, like holidays, together.
At 10 years Sue’s new business had progressed into a much more enterprising direction. She was no longer working part-time hours at a medical practice but devoting her time and energy into building her own business, which is runs with the help of loyal staff. Her business partner husband is also sharing her vision and their efforts have afforded the couple a larger house, in a leafier suburb that Sue had dreamt about living in for a long time. With the children happily settled at university Sue also has more time to explore new interests, which include travel and writing.
