Stress
A little bit of pressure can increase productivity, be motivating and improve performance but too much can result in difficulty sleeping, sweating, lack of appetite and difficult sleeping and that just the beginning .
Not everyone who is stressed will go and see their GP but recent research suggests that a quarter of adults will have a mental health problem at some point in their lives. A recent survey estimated that during 2008 and 2009 over 400,000 people in Britain experienced work related stress that was making them unwell and that’s the ones they knew about.
Loveursoul’s perspective
Everyone suffers from stress at some point in their life and infect it is good for us. We must know how to deal with our own stress though and be in position to manage our way through it. For many years Lucy’s stress was the cause of many of her symptoms and once she understood that and was able to manage her expectations she was much more able to work her way through it. Not managing stress does lead to many physical and emotional symptoms. Exercise and diet will have a huge impact on how you handle it and finding the right thing for what fits your needs and lifestyle will allow you to flow through stress without the physical symptoms it leaves behind it. Complementary therapy can have a huge impact on this.
