Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial Osteopathy

What is Cranial Osteopathy?

Cranial osteopathy is a refined type of osteopathic treatment that uses gentle manipulative pressure to encourage the release of stresses throughout the body including the head.

It is extremely effective in treating a wide range of conditions in people of all ages from birth to old age. Most of us have been exposed to physical trauma at some stage of our life. The body may have been able to absorb the effects of an accident no matter how small at the time but a lasting strain often remains. Illness and emotional trauma can also have a lasting effect. Gradually the body may find it more difficult to cope with accumulated stress, and symptoms may start to show.  Visits will last up to an hour for the first one and often as few as 2 or 3 visits will suffice for treatment. Often people find so many benefits from having a six monthly checkup that they have treatments to keep on top of their general health.

Conditions treated Include:

  • Joint pain
  • Back ache
  • Neck ache
  • Sinusitus
  • Asthma
  • Headache
  • Migraine
  • Digestive disorders
  • Period Pain
  • Irregular periods
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Fatigue
  • Childhood issues
