Hopi Ear Candles

Hopi Ear Candles

Hopi Ear candles (also known as Thermo-Auricular Therapy) is a gentle non-invasive and relaxing treatment of the ears, which can help with a variety of conditions of the ears, nose and throat area and to relieve stress.

The candle, a 20cm long cylindrical tube, is made from organically grown flax impregnated with honey, essential oils and herbal extracts – sage, camomile, St John’s Wort and beta-carotene. It is sprayed with beeswax to help it maintain its tubular shape and seal in essential ingredients.

The candle is lit and held in place at all times by the therapist. It works on a chimney principle drawing any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed.

Hopi Ear treatment can help improve cold and flu symptoms, sore throats, tonsilitis, hay fever, rhinitis, excessive or compacted earwax, migraines, headaches, glue ear, irritation and itching in the ears, snoring, sinus problems, noises in the ear, tinitus, stress, tension, vertigo, Meniere’s disease, hearing problems, pain and pressure in the ears.
