Acupuncture
Acupuncture helps balance the ‘chi’ or energy in the body using very fine disposable sterile needles. The style of acupuncture incorporates both Five Elements and Traditional Chinese Medicine, helping to correct both long-standing or acute conditions and promoting vitality and resistance to disease.
Aromatherapy
There are few more pleasurable ways to feel well – for centuries essential oils have been used to help heal everyday health problems, soothe stresses, ease aching muscles, help to boost the immune system and create a wonderful sense of well-being.
Kinesiology
The science of using simple, gentle muscle tests to assess body function and locate imbalances – kinesiology is especially useful for identifying and treating hormone disorders, immune problems, nutritional imbalances and food sensitivities.
Nutritional Therapy
Many health problems are associated with nutritional deficiencies, sensitivities and toxic accumulations. Using specialised diagnostic techniques, such as iridology, nutritional therapists help design personal diet programmes.
Reflexology
There are ‘reflex’ points on our feet and hands that mirror and reflect all the organs and structures in the body. By using skilful pressure techniques on these points, fully trained reflexologists can help to relieve pain, relax tension, revitalise the body’s energy, boost the immune system and restore health.

Gayle Bevan has been working full time in the Complementary Therapy field for over 9 years, after a life long interest in Complementary and Alternative therapies. Following a full time course in Holistic therapy Gayle qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Swedish massage, Advanced massage techniques, Nutritional advice and Counselling skills. Gayle continued her studies, and gained further Diplomas in Indian head massage, Crystal Therapy, Nutritional Therapy and Certificates in Sports massage, Hot stone massage,Thai Foot massage, Thai Acupressure face massage, Thermo auricular therapy (Hopi ear candles) qualifying to advanced level . Gayle is also a Reiki practitioner.
In May of 2006 Gayle qualified to Diploma standard in the Bowen Technique after training with John Wilks and the Bowen technique association Australia.

Sue Carberry first became interested in complementary health in her native Australia, where she completed Reiki 1 in 1987. After the death of her mother from Cancer (in the UK) in 1994, Sue trained with the Tisserand Institute, and made the transition from Secretary to full time Aromatherapist.
She then went on to learn various modalities of bodywork, healing and other therapies to integrate into a unique style of massage.

Anna holds an HND in Complementary Heathcare from the University of Brighton, and is fully qualified in Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage. She has worked as a therapist at ULCH on the Paediatric and Teenage Cancer wards and still works part time at a local hospice. Anna is fully insured through the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
I have a private practice in Lewes where I use a range of treatments which can be adapted to fit the individual needs of the client, whether this is for relaxation or to deal with a specific problem thereby providing a truly holistic, effective and enjoyable experience.

My journey started when I trained as a Beauty Therapist and Aromatherapist in the early nineties at the London Institute of Beauty Culture. On graduating I worked for The Spa at Selfridges in London moving on to Yves Rocher where I managed their Harrow branch. Since 1999 I have studied two Reiki disciplines to Mastership level, Crystal Healing, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Hopi Ear Candles, Meditation and have become a licensed Heal Your Life Workshop Leader (work based on the principles of Louise L. Hay.)
I am also fully qualified member of B.A.B.T.A.C and Embody.

My introduction to Reiki six years ago led me down a very different life path to the one I had planned. Having worked for some years in demanding IT jobs I know what it is to lead a stressful life and to expect a certain lifestyle to go with it. Reiki changed the way I view life and has inspired me to train in therapies that are designed to relieve pain and help my clients to lead more relaxed and happier lives.
