Hi, I am Krystyna Monks and I first came across Bowen through my horse, whose reaction to the treatment intrigued me to try a treatment for myself. I was so impressed by the results I decided to train as a practitioner.
I trained with the European College of Bowen Studies (ECBS) and am listed on their website as a qualified therapist; I am also listed on the Bowen Therapists European Register (BTER) website.

Like many people, I turned to complementary therapies when conventional medicine did not work as well for me as I hoped – and I was amazed at the difference just a couple of Bowen Technique treatments made, not only to my physical injuries, but also to my stress level and overall well-being.
I am a member of the Bowen Association (UK), the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia, certified in the practice of Bowen Technique.
I am also registered with the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners. I am fully insured, hold qualifications in anatomy and physiology and first aid, am bound to a professional code of conduct in my practice, and I am committed to a programme of continuing professional development.
